Stacey L. Staton is a native of Edgecombe County, born and raised during her early childhood in Rocky Mount. She is a graduate of East Carolina University, having obtain a B.S. In Accounting. Her job experience includes working as a bookkeeper, a receptionist, a waitress, a CNA, and an executive assistant. She enjoys working with Senior Citizens and organizing events for local community residents. Her hobbies include cooking, traveling, and listening to audio books. Her favorite quote is from the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., "Darkness can not drive out darkness, only light can do that, hate can not drive out hate, only love can do that."
